With the season of Christmas or year-end holidays, with the drastic rise in the Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, some of the local governments of Indonesia have imposed a new requirement for entry to the region. The regions as Java, Bali, and Bangka Belitung has implemented new rules and regulations on the entry and exit flights.
The new regulation for entry to Java, Bali, and Bangka Belitung, must follow the legal health requirements.
Any passenger travelling to Java through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) Tangerang, Bandung Husein Sastranegara International Airport (BDO), Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) Kulonprogo, Adi Soemarmo International Airport (SOC) Solo, Ahmad Yani International Airport (SRG) Semarang, Juanda International Airport (SUB) Surabaya, Rachman Saleh International Airport (MLG) Malang and Banyuwangi International Airport (BWX) Banyuwangi must present the negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test done maximum 72 hours before departure or the PCR swab test report done max by 7 days of travelling date.
Children under 12 years of age are not required to have a PCR-based swab test result/rapid antigen/antibody test result and are exempt from providing the certificate.
Any travelers to Bali via the airport, with the provisions of the Decree of the Governor of Bali No. 2021 of 2020 which applies from 19 December – 4 January 2021, must present a negative PCR swab test certificate that is done no more than 7 days before departure.
Incase of departing Bali, passengers must hold the negative certificate of PCR Swab test issued by Provincial health facilities at least 14 days from the date of departure.
However, a passenger under 12 years of age are not required to have a Covid-19 free certificate (either swab/rapid)
Passengers traveling to Bangka Belitung, as guideline issued by the Governor of Bangka Belitung Islands No.550 / 1051 / DISHUB which took effect from 21 December 2020 – 8 January 2021, any traveling to required to submit a certificate of rapid antigen test results or PCR-based swab tests with a non-reactive or negative information status issued by a legal Health Service Institution owned by the government, BUMN, or private sector
Children under 12 years of age are required to submit a negative rapid antigen/antibody certificate.
