
With the restrictions of travel since March due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Seychelles the beach holiday destination has confirmed the authorization for operation of the commercial flights to enter Seychelles starting on 1st August. The operation has brings the summer holidays tourist the options to find scenic, peaceful vacation destination.
The Public Health Authority in Seychelles and the Tourism offices ensure the health safety of travelers visiting Seychelles for a holiday and the local areas. Heath Authority with a discussion with Tourism Sector Stakeholders of Seychelles has issued new guidelines for the safety measures .
Visitors traveling to Seychelles must provide proof of accommodation in approved hotels/resorts for the entire period of stay and must show booking vouchers at the Immigration desk. In order to ensure the safety of their visitor’s local service providers are expected to intensify their vigilance and hygiene measures within their premises during their stay. Health and Safety officers will daily monitor accommodation facilities for the first 14 days after the arrival of a guest. Visitors can BOOK the preferred accommodation and activities with certified tourism partners.
It is compulsory for all visitors to provide travel insurance covering their entire period of travel. Upon arrival, visitors must go with a rapid antigen test. Upon entry screening will be done upon arrival with completion of the health check form, symptomatic check, temperature scanning. All passengers must provide the COVID 19 test report before boarding the flight. Whereas medium risk countries are expected to conduct a PCR test within 72 hours of travel. Passenger boarding from low-risk countries is required to submit an antigen test within 72 hours of travel.
