After Many U.S. airlines have made it a mandatory requirement, including Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, American Airlines, and Alaska Airlines, Qatar Airways has put a regulation on the passenger to compulsory wear face shields to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 since the end of May 2020. Before boarding, airlines will be providing the face shields along with protective kits which includes, sanitizer, surgical face mask and disposable gloves without any charges to customers.

Infants age below 2 years are not required to put the mask on, however, children below 12 years will receive a kid’s size face shield with Qatar’s Oryx kids Mascots. Qatar Airways cabin crew will be wearing full disposable protective gowns, including safety goggles, gloves, and a mask. Economy Class customers are required to wear their masks and shields during the entire flight except when they are eating or drinking.

The airlines also have has taken extra precautions during the serving of business class meals. It will be covered on a tray instead of setting them up on a table. All onboard blankets will be cashed with “microbial lethal temperatures” and pack it properly by staff wearing disposable gloves and taking proper precautions.

Qatar Airways is only airlines currently flying to more then 65+ destinations by July 2020 and flight can be BOOK online.
