Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had restricted on international travel to their citizen since 1st Jan 2021.
With the suspension for six months on the International flight since March, the government of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is partially lifting the suspension of international flights from 15th September.
This suspension will allow the exceptional categories of citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia to travel.
Exceptional categories of citizen and residence are referred to public and military sector employees, diplomats and their families, workers on public or non-profit private sector jobs abroad, businessmen, patients who need treatment abroad, those studying abroad as well as people with humanitarian cases, and sports teams.
All the GCC nationals and visitors holding valid residence or visit visa are allowed to enter the Kingdom and required to provide mandatory COVID-19 Negative report.
The Kingdom has recorded total of 325,651 COVID-19 cases untill 13th September with the death of 4,268 people. There has been the average cases of 600-700 COVID-19 cases everyday in the Kingdom.
