The world football governing body FIFA has announced the schedule of the match. The opening game will take place on 21st Nov. 2022 in Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor city, Qatar. The Al Bayt Stadium is capacities to hold 60,000 peoples. Khalifa International Stadium will be the setting for the play-off for third place on 17 December. The final match will be played on 18th December 2022 in Lusail Stadium holding the capacities of 80,000 people. The ending day is also the Qatar national day.

The 32-team tournament will be paying for 28 days in 8 stadiums in 4 different cities. During the group stage, the players will able to get three days of rest between matches. Being the compact nature of the country air travel won’t be necessary for players, coaches, and supporters.

In Fifa World History, it’s the first time the West Asian nation is organizing the World cup game and also the 1st smallest country to host the Fifa world cup. Being the smallest country with area sized only 11,571 Square KMS and, with good connectivity of public transportations through metros, public buses, and taxies the football fans can able to attend and watch multiple matches live from the stadium. The accommodation in Qatar has very close connectivity with the Metro stations. Qatar Metro stations have four different lines that connect all the Stadium of Qatar.

With four matches scheduled daily during the first phase,  with the first game kicking off @01 PM, 04 PM, 07 PM, and 10 PM local time of Qatar ((GMT+3). H.E. Hassan Al Thawadi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy and Chairman, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 LLC, said in Qatar2022.qa: “Qatar 2022 will be different from other tournaments in many different ways. Once they arrive here, fans can focus on having fun, following their teams, and experiencing the Arab and Middle Eastern culture.” Further added, “We’ve always said we’re aiming for this tournament to be a bridge between different cultures – and this is an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to experience great football and create lasting bonds and friendships.”

All the rights for the sale of the FIFA ticket are with Fifa.com. Anyone wishing to book their seats at Qatar 2022 match ticket, the sales are scheduled to start in late 2020. Ticket sales for the general public will be conducted solely via FIFA.com/tickets, where details on the timeline, phases, categories, and prices will be communicated in due course.
