The Pandemic has made struggles in different businesses run and has negative impacts mostly on tourism.

Hilton Corp is closing down their Hilton New York City Times Square hotel from 1st October 2020 that expected to layoff more than 200 jobs, according to a document it filed with New York State this week. The document was likely the mandatory 30-day notice employers must file in the event of employee layoffs.

The closure decision has been made due to the unforeseeable business circumstances with affect of Covid-19 pandemic.

USA hotels have been badly hit due to pandemic, where there was only 38-40% occupancy was recorded in New York Hotels in comparison to 93-95% occupancy last year during the summer vacations.

New York currently has recorded 443K COVID-19 cases with the approximate death of 32579 until date. The Mayor of NYC had regulated the rules of 14 days quarantine for visitors from different states along with restrictions on other activities with the implementation of the fines.
