The Government of Sharjah, UAE has lifted the restrictions on the travel for the tourist and the resident of Sharjah. The earlier decision of requirement of prior approval for entry has been canceled for Sharjah residents holding valid visas to enter the emirate.
With the ease of the COVID-19 cases in UAE, the emirate has lifted all travel restrictions on travel to UAE.and tourists are also allowed to enter freely.
However, all travelers to Sharjah must provide a negative Covid-19 test report, conducted not more than 96 hours earlier, before arriving in UAE. The travelers will have to undergo another Covid-19 test at their port of entry regardless of their earlier negative report.
The move is part of the emirate’s efforts to normalize all activities, said the Sharjah Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Committee.
UAE currently has the total COVID-19 cases of 87,530 with death counted to 406 until date.
