Queues are building on the roads into North Wales as cross-border travel restrictions end.

Motorists are experiencing some travel delays on the A494 and A55 as restrictions on travel between Wales and other parts of the UK end.

It is one of the first times in months that motorists are experiencing delays caused by the volume of traffic on the roads into North Wales.

The restrictions have been eased as non-essential shops also reopen in the country, with shoppers heading out for some retail therapy for the first time since December.
