Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal, with a population of around 2.5 million. Kathmandu is also known as the city of temples as every step you take we find the temples. Kathmandu set in a valley surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. Kathmandu is the Oldest city, where we can find old monuments and temples all around the cities. Many of the city’s historic sites were destroyed or damaged during the massive earthquake in the year 2015. However, all the damaged parts in the main historic part as Durbar Square’s palace, Hanuman Dhoka, and Kasthamandap, a wooden Hindu temple, are being rebuilt. The iconic 11 Stories Tower Dharahara was fully collapsed during the earthquake. The metropolitan office has now restarted building it again in memory of Dharahara.
