Cyprus announces plans to cover expenses for tourists visiting the country in case they are infected by the virus during their travel. The government has also exclusively set up hospitals for tourists. To boost tourism in the country the government’s plan aims to cover costs related to accommodation, medicine, and food. The country also has plans to allocate hotels specifically for family members and friends of travelers who test positive, under government expense.
