The U.S. Transportation Department has approved an Air India for operation on passenger flights between the two countries and lifted the banned on Indian air carriers to apply for authorization before flight operations between two nations.
After a month of banned on the commercial flights between India and the USA, the Indian government and US Transportation department have reached an agreement on the restart of commercial flights between the two countries from the 23rd of July.
The Indian government had banned all scheduled operations, as U.S. Transportation Department accused India of engaging in “unfair and discriminatory practices” on charter air carriers serving India.
India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation said they are working on resume International operations with US, UAE, France & Germany with an agreement to operates flight to and from India along with their national carriers.
